Too Jay’s is a Florida-based restaurant chain with almost 30 locations. Its roots are NY deli style food (liver and onions is on the menu), but they offer much more than that. It’s casual with table service, though the long deli counter where you enter gives it a little bit of a cafeteria feel. In the counter are all kinds of foods you can buy to take home, like macaroons.
As you flip through the menu you’ll notice a section of (mostly) vegetarian selections! Thumbs up!
I’ve been to Too Jay’s a few times in different locations and have tried the Black Bean Burger, Mediterranean Veggie Wrap and the Roasted Vegetable Wrap. I enjoyed them all and that it comes with or you can ask for fresh fruit on the side rather than just fries. There are more options on the menu as well that I haven’t eaten yet.Overall Too Jay’s serves up a few options for good and healthy plant-based food in a casual atmosphere (kid-friendly!). I’ve never had a wait and the service has been good as well.
