Peach Valley Café is a small chain of restaurants in Florida. They serve breakfast and lunch in a friendly, casual atmosphere – think diner style. They strive to serve fresh, homemade and made-to-order food.
For breakfast, they offer granola (perhaps, check if this is made with milk), oatmeal, and seasonal fresh fruit. Lunch options include the house salad, walnut salad, summer salad, and veggie wrap (leaving the cheese and garlic toast off the salads).
I was at an Orlando location for lunch and ordered the veggie wrap which has grilled marinated portabella mushrooms, baby spinach, tomatoes, avocados, fresh sprouts and carrots served with a Dijon vinaigrette in a spinach and herb wrap. It comes with fries or chips, coleslaw and a pickle. I substituted their peach ginger dressing from the summer salad for the Dijon vinaigrette and ordered a side of fresh fruit instead of the fries/chips. I was super happy with my substitution as I’m not a mustard fan and my wrap was light and sweet. I ignored the coleslaw since I don’t want the mayo.
For a light breakfast or lunch, you will be able to eat plant strong at the Peach Valley Café.
Update: Went back and had a new item on the menu: the Peachy Quinoa Kale Salad. Also comes with corn, sweet potato, cranberries and pumpkin seeds. Definitely healthy and worth a try!
