Answers regarding the Paleo Diet from Jeff Novick, MS, RD

Jeff Novick is a dietitian and nutritionist who advocates a plant based diet. I thought his response to a question about the Paleo diet, which I hear about everywhere, was interesting:

Summary: The elimination of dairy and processed foods advocated by the Paleo diet, as well as the focus on supplementing your diet with body weight based exercise is a huge positive. The focus on eliminating whole grains, legumes and unprocessed starchy vegetables is unfounded.
