Time for a casual night out – why not pizza? We took a chance on New York City Pizza. I wasn’t sure how this was going to go, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the vegetarian pizza, New York style thin crust and no cheese. As you can see from the picture, it was piled high with yummy veggies – mushroom, bell pepper, sun dried tomato, artichoke, and onion. You CAN do delicious AND healthy at a pizza place! The only improvement I would make is having a whole wheat crust option.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere and service left much to be desired. It took an hour to get our food. I think the kitchen forgot about us, lost our order, or they put all the take-out orders ahead of us.
While I would definitely order this pizza again, I would get it as take-out.
